Carl got into his pod, as did the rest of his team. After securing himself and weapon and gear, the pod closed shut. The pod then began moving and turning into drop position. Then the pod began to shake as it's thruster started up.
"Here we go. Hold on tight." Carl said over the comm.
There was a beeping sound. It beeped 3 times. Then the latches disengaged, releasing the pods. The pods descended down to Jericho VII at a controlled acceleration rate.
They started to enter the planet's atmosphere and the heat quickly picked up.
"Steady...Hold it toge

The friction between her gloves and the cable was starting to heat through. Naki tightened her grip, however, when she saw the elevator car rapidly approaching. The armor on her legs prevented her from using them to adequately slow herself, so she slammed into rooftop and rolled off the side.
“Damnit,” she muttered. Naki rose to h

Ryau stood before the Prophet of Regret and sighed to himself. "No your Excellency, I do not have the experience that Science Major 'Cimutee had."
"Well Major 'Cinotee, why do you have credentials from the Ministry of Special Sciences?" Regret asked, while leaning onto his right arm.
"I believe it is because I know some small things from them, to be completely honest I am nothing more than a glorified assistant to 'Cimutee."
"Then what is it that you can do, Major?" Regret
Side Trip - Chapter 3
Jittering as he stepped out through the gate, Sowell blinked, the lights being far dimmer than the twin stars of the planet behind him. SG-2 was gathered at the foot of the ramp speaking to each other. A second squad of airmen pointed their weapons up at him.
“Major Sowell.” he heard Landry speak through the microphone. “Where’s Doctor Jackson?”
“Right behind me.” He said. Almost on cue, the final figure crossed through the event horizon. Daniel Jackson nodded at Landry.
Power was cut to the gate, which fizzled out.
“Power down complete.” Harriman said over t
Side Trip - Chapter 2
Sowell had been handed a rifle by an airman near the entrance to the main gate. He flipped the gun over in his hand, careful to keep his index finger off the trigger. It was a long thing with a carrying handle on the top, and a wedge-shaped front sight. He briefly checked the chamber and got a few more magazines for the gun, placing them in his side pockets. He clicked the safety on and looked for Jackson. The doctor was behind him though now he had a handgun in a holster.
"Ever use one of those before?" he asked Sowell. "This is an M16A4 rifle. Standard USAF configuration for SGC units. Thirty round magazine, fires s
Side Trip - Chapter 1
Major Kevin Sowell sat in the relatively plush chair with his wrists in cuffs. He had only recently been taken from his cell several floors below where he was and brought here by men in uniforms. Though their camouflage patterns were unusual to him, they wore rankings similar to Air Force operatives in the UEG. Inverted chevrons indicated that the two escorting him were low-ranking airmen. Sowell had gone without argument or protest, but he did not see the rest of his team in the hallway outside. the major reasoned they were still in their cells.
He was brought to an office that was quaint, most likely that of a high

The Orbital Drop Shock Trooper crept through the security gate, and walked to the edge of the roadway. The ONI building burned at the other end of the Security Zone. He took in a breath and let it out slowly. The yellow outline on his HUD laid at the bottom of his vision, another clue to the whereabouts of his squad. All he had found so far were hints and bits of ordinance shown to him by the Superintendent; the city's AI custodian.
